An austere oblong volume with rounded, slightly flattened, end is sunk into the landscape at the rear of the house. The facade is elaborated in on-site poured concrete with a negative relief of locally recovered tree trunks. The traditional thatched roof is a continuation of the existing home.

By means of several descending steps you reach the interior space through an inconspicuous opening in the wall. Typical is the monotone warm material palette in mainly rosewood veneers. In addition to a desk and library, a potted bench was designed into the completion. The various elements are supported by a continuous pedestal that makes the whole into one total piece of furniture.

Two large block windows, one in curved glass, each frame the impressive green surroundings like lifelike landscape paintings.
