Gestalt realized the total renovation and complete furnishing of a small penthouse in a 1970s residential building, surrounded by tall conifers that fill the air with their characteristic fresh scent.

In the quest for understated luxury, a rich material and color palette was chosen. A layered diversity of textures connects all the spaces into one serene, refined and characterful overall experience tailored to the resident’s needs.

The furniture collection was carefully curated as a combination of vintage collectibles and new classics, complemented by sentimental family heirlooms given a second life with a new, distinctive checker upholstery.

Layer by layer, the interior was built into an inspiring home, where new, sustainable techniques complete the overall metamorphosis.
