The intervention is kept to a minimum: at the level of the living spaces, the dividing wall is opened up with an eccentrically placed column. The openings are thickened, and the floor is again finished in a Belgian red marble and a green marble from the Italian Alps.

Two basic functions are further specified: a sprawling kitchen with an opposite library wall are added. The design is structurally approached and elaborated in the same type of wood. A prominent fireplace with seating completes the permanent furnishings.
