In looking up the local scale and texture, a set of two simple vertical façade extensions are created that pose as two fireplaces. It creates a façade that expresses itself as two village houses. In this way, the façade design orchestrates a multifamily house with four apartments and a parking garage in a small-scale environment.

The front facade on Ambachtstraat consists of red brick that gradually changes to a gray-white plaster in the side facade, which then continues over the entire rear facade. Sills, baseboards and cover stones, along with the brick gutters, are elaborated in a traditional gray concrete.

The side façade opens onto a future connection to Lange Street. A combination of brick and plaster creates a trompe l’oeil facade with the aim of expressing a reduction in scale.

Two window typologies are deliberately chosen. Opening sections that provide access to an outdoor space slide and are finished in a dark green. Other opening wholes rotate and match the gray-white plastered exterior finish in the side and rear elevations.
