Ode to Donald Judd

At the client’s request, we designed 8 workstations, divided into 2 office wholes. Centrally positioned between the 2 desk assemblies is a flexible co-working table. The formal language of the desk assemblies provides a strong reference to the work of Donald Judd.

The furniture consists of vertical waxed aluminum sheets combined with thick plywood in stained beech. The work surfaces are finished in a dark red lino.

A book display case at the front and an administrative half-open cabinet at the back, with central the various desk niches, each equipped with a small aluminum surface-mounted drawer. The workstations are raised so that the different elements form 1 piece of furniture.
