Do you have an idea or project you would like to discuss with us ?
We would love to welcome you for an informal discussion,
Founded in 2018, Gestalt is driven by a commitment to create environments that endure—spaces that inspire today while remaining meaningful for generations to come. Working across architecture, interior design, and furniture design, the studio approaches each project as a careful exploration of context, materiality, and atmosphere. Every commission begins with an attentive immersion in the wishes and possibilities of the client, balanced with the character of its surroundings—whether embedded in the energy of the city or the calm of the landscape.

The studio’s work unfolds through three principal themes: Live, Host, and Build. Each reflects a different scale and rhythm of inhabiting space, from the intimacy of domestic architecture to the social dynamics of hospitality and the broader framework of architectural construction.
Complementing these fields of practice is Collect, a platform where Gestalt’s cultural references and design affinities converge. Conceived both for the studio’s own projects and for external collectors, Collect presents a curated selection of furniture, objects, and lighting that resonate with the studio’s architectural language.
Gestalt acts as Antwerp ambassador for the German furniture manufacturer TECTA, whose iconic Bauhaus pieces embody a legacy of design experimentation and craftsmanship. The niche collection is presented with a strong emphasis on customization, allowing each piece to remain faithful to its original character while adapting to contemporary interiors. The studio also represents Soyoun Kim (KR/NL), a young designer whose sculptural lamps translate architectural thinking into delicate objects of light.
Alongside these collaborations, Gestalt sources a carefully chosen selection of vintage furniture—pieces that carry history and character, and which naturally find their place within current and future projects.
Collect also serves as the home for Gestalt’s own developing line of objects and furniture. Together, these elements form an evolving collection that reflects the studio’s culture, references, and way of living.
